Frequently Asked Questions
-
We have connectors in place for most major CRMs. If we don’t have what you need, we’ll commit to making it available within 7 days.
Handled creates a deal for a qualified lead or a ticket for a support escalation, checks for an existing contact before creating a duplicate, and writes a note with a summary, a link back to the conversation, and the transcript itself. -
It never blocks the customer's own conversation. A CRM outage or bad credential doesn't stop the chat completing normally. It does alert your Handled operator immediately so it gets fixed fast, and new conversations flow through as soon as it's resolved.
-
Yes. Connect your own workspace in one click from Credentials, no webhook URLs to manage.
Escalations post straight to whichever channel you choose per contact.
Private channels work too. You'll just need to invite the Handled app into that channel first, which is a Slack requirement for any app, not something specific to us. -
Yes. Set it per escalation contact, the same way you'd route by email, category by category if you want that level of control.
-
Type entries directly, or upload a document such as a policy doc, a pricing sheet, existing help content, etc and Handled drafts FAQ entries from it for you to review and approve before they go live.
-
Not necessarily. If you've already got help docs, a pricing sheet, or policy documents lying around, upload them and Handled drafts a first pass for you to edit and approve.
-
Yes. Primary colour, chat bubble colour and icon, font, logo, and an optional one-time welcome message shown above the bubble when a new visitor lands. All configured from the dashboard.
-
One script tag, copied from your dashboard. No development work needed beyond pasting it in.
-
Yes. Invite teammates by email from Account. No passwords involved.
The invite link doubles as their first sign-in.
Seat limits scale with your plan tier. -
Not currently. Integration today is through the CRM connectors, Slack, and the dashboard itself.
-
Not yet. Escalation today means the bot hands off with full context to email or Slack, rather than a human joining the same chat thread live.
-
Structurally, not just by convention.
Every request is scoped to your business's own account, resolved from your session, never trusted from anything a browser could send.
One business genuinely cannot see another's data.

See if SupportBot can help. If not, a human will be straight back in touch.
